The problem:
Made In, a major cookware brand, wanted to speed up how quickly it catches missed opportunities and wasted spend across over 15k campaigns it runs on Amazon.
Targeting mismatches, build errors from copy-paste mistakes, and forgotten keyword matches could go undetected for months, draining budget.
The solution:
Intentwise’s AI Gateway allowed Made In to create a continuous audit layer across all of its Amazon campaigns. Rather than manually clicking around in a dashboard and applying filters, Made In could now ask Claude, its chosen AI agent, where its missed opportunities were. This work used to take Made In's team hours every day—now it happens in minutes.
Keith Hamann, senior director of marketplaces at Made In Cookware, asked Claude minute questions about missing exact match campaigns, like:
Are there any high performing keywords that we are not targeting with Exact Match campaigns?
Hamann also asked about which SKUs are missing certain critical ad targets, like:
For the U.S., what SKUS are missing advertising targets like AUTO, PHRASE, BROAD, CATEGORY targeting for SP?
With other plain-text prompts, Claude identified ad campaigns for Made In with high spend that were largely failing to drive sales.
Hamann gave Claude a prompt, “Pull search terms from the last 14 days with at least 20 clicks and zero orders,” which returned 49 terms that had collectively drawn nearly $15k in ad spend and zero orders.
Cutting spend on these terms was a slam-dunk money saver.
In the end, Made In created an always-on auditing mechanism that surfaced the targeting mismatches, incomplete categories and auto-targeting coverage, and other errors that had gone undetected, masked by strong overall account performance.
None of this would’ve been possible without Intentwise’s AI Gateway, which provided a secure connection between Made In’s data warehouse and Claude.
AI Gateway lets brands and agencies run Amazon analytics inside their chosen AI agent, and adds embedded e-commerce expertise so that Claude can truly reason through all of Made In’s questions.
